The primary focus of the team is to build partnerships with clients belonging to Glitnir´s global niche segments of food, with particular attention to seafood, sustainable and geothermal energy, and offshore supply vessels.

Corporate Finance

Corporate Finance provides advice to clients when undertaking mergers and acquisitions. The prime objective is to assist or advise clients in their attempt to acquire, dispose, or merge their assets. Furthermore, it is to assist and advice in fund raising efforts, whether by debt or equity or a mix thereof.

Glitnir Capital Corporation, a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of Glitnir Banki hf., formally opened an office in New York City in September 2007. The office is located in midtown Manhattan, in the centre of the big apple.
