The next creditors‘ meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, 31 January 2012, at 10:00 am  at Grand Hotel, Sigtun 38, 105 Reykjavik, Iceland. Parties who have submitted claims against the bank are entitled to attend the meeting.

A creditors' meeting was held on Wednesday, 31 August 2011, at 10:00 am at Hilton Hotel Nordica, Suðurlandsbraut 2, 108 Reykjavík. Parties who had submitted claims against the bank were entitled to attend the meeting. Decisions of the Winding-Up Board were presented and discussion on the list of lodged claims continued.

A creditors' meeting was held on Thursday, 14 April 2011, at 10:00 am at Hilton Hotel Nordica, Suðurlandsbraut 2, 108 Reykjavík. Parties who had submitted claims against the bank were entitled to attend the meeting. Decisions of the Winding-Up Board were presented and discussion on the list of lodged claims continued.

A creditors' meeting will be held on Thursday, 2 December 2010, at 10:00 am at Hilton Hotel Nordica, Suðurlandsbraut 2, 108 Reykjavík. Parties who have submitted claims against the bank are entitled to attend the meeting. Decisions of the Winding-Up Board insofar will be presented and discussion on the list of lodged claims continues.

An updated list of claims will be publised on Glitnirs secure creditors website and access to submit objections electronically made available at midnight  24/25 November 2010.

If you see reason to object to the decision of your claim or other claims, which the Winding-Up Board has decided on from 19 May 2010 to 2 December 2010, such objection(s) must be delivered to the Winding-Up Board no later than at the meeting 2 December 2010.

The Moratorium period of Glitnir hf. ends and a formal winding-up process starts. 

Reykjavik District Court will convene in Courtroom 102 of the courthouse on Lækjartorg square in Reykjavík to review the moratorium of Glitnir hf. on Friday, 13 August 2010, at 11:00 am, as the moratorium granted to the bank by the ruling of the Reykjavík District Court expires at that time. All parties with claims against Glitnir hf. are entitled to attend the meeting.

A ruling by the Reykjavík District Court, pronounced on 19 November 2009, authorised the extension of the moratorium granted to Glitnir hf., Reg. No. 550500-3530, Kirkjusandur, 105 Reykjavík, which was originally granted on 24 November 2008, to 11:00 am on Friday, 13 August 2010.

A ruling by the Reykjavík District Court, pronounced on 19 November 2009, authorised the extension of the moratorium granted to Glitnir hf., Reg. No. 550500-3530, Kirkjusandur, 105 Reykjavík, which was originally granted on 24 November 2008, to 11:00 am on Friday, 13 August 2010. 

Steinunn Guðbjartsdóttir, Supreme Court Attorney, has served as Administrator during the moratorium.
As a result, and with reference to Art. 13 of Act No. 21/1991, the banks’ creditors are invited to a meeting, to be held on Friday, 6 August 2010, at 10:00 am at the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica, Suðurlandsbraut 2, Reykjavík.

Furthermore, notice is hereby given that the District Court will convene in Courtroom 102 of the courthouse on Lækjartorg square in Reykjavík to review the moratorium of Glitnir hf. on Friday, 13 August 2010, at 11:00 am, as the moratorium granted to the bank by the ruling of the Reykjavík District Court expires at that time.
