Customers can trade both through traditional brokerage services and Glitnir’s Direct Market Access (DMA) platform. Glitnir bases its investment advice on macro and company analysis combined with fundamental and technical analysis.
Glitnir is a member of all the Nordic Exchanges (OMX + OSE) and RTS and Micex in Russia.
In 2007 Glitnir was the second largest broker in the Nordic equity market (OMX + OSE), with a 6.21% market share of the turnover.
Glitnir Research teams are located in Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. The teams focus primarily on the Nordic and Russian equity market as well as macro, FX and strategy reports.
